Account Manager (SF or LA)

Job Summary:

Responsible for assistance in maintaining and building the territory’s advertising clientele. Upsell, maintain, and service existing accounts primarily through telephone/email/IM and joint meetings with AE’s.  Continually prospect for new clients/opportunities and secure incremental revenue through upselling existing business.  Develop strong client relationships, work with AE’s to manage the post sale aspects of our client relationships. Create and/or review sales reports, campaign reports and forecasts. Review RFP proposals and make preliminary recommendations. Coordinate daily with Sales team regarding territory strategy and execution plan. Complete regular call reports to update sales management on account activity.  This position will work from either our San Francisco or Los Angeles offices.  Applicants from both markets are encouraged to apply.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of post sales activity for our clients
  • Assist in growing territory/account revenue to meet and exceed revenue goals
  • Review RFP proposals and make recommendations with sales planner and AE
  • Secure strategic level relationships with client contacts within the account list or territory region
  • Coordinate with Ad Ops in resolving territory maintenance issues

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years experience in Digital Sales environment
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fluid, fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Have a strong background in client success and retention
  • Extensive knowledge of digital media and online advertising including SEO, SEM, PPC campaigns, digital advertising, brand advertising, and performance marketing 
  • Experience constructing, revising, and submitting RFPs and IOs
  • Working knowledge of sales process and negotiation
