Manager, Consumer Insights & Product Marketing

Job Summary

This position is the expert on Kiip’s major audiences to inform the quality and direction of our product roadmap. This role works closely with Sales, BD, and Product Engineering to elicit business needs and challenges and makes recommendations to shape the cross functional teams’ brand engagement and growth.  The role also leads efforts to garner attention on Kiip’s Moments Intelligence Platform.  This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with creative, critical thinking intellect to garner interest and fascination both internally and externally.  The role comes with a large degree of autonomy, creativity, and deep data resources.

Responsibilities

  • Be the voice of the Kiip user to drive the process for eliciting and gathering insights related to our corporate, user, developer, and brand audiences.
  • Conduct surveys, research and focus groups to this end that influence and inform business strategy and product roadmap.
  • Translate consumer / audience insights and analytics for in house teams. Ensure the latest research is integrated into brand, growth strategies / initiatives
  • Create and manage a well-organized rationale library, elevating data-driven selling points into sound bites for sales teams
  • Maintain an exceptional pulse on industry trends to evangelize to respective teams
  • Manage the Kiip Daily Brief emails, network number(s) and user support email inbounds
  • Manage our Moments Classification system and the methodical categorization of Kiip inventory for analysis and Kiip-specific insights generation
  • Launch a retention program to make Kiip a cherished brand among Kiip users (reward recipients)
  • Responsible for producing 5-7 data-driven thought leadership content pieces per quarter (white papers, blog posts, and video content utilizing data / insights)

Requirements

  • You’re passionate about the collective voice and know how to transform it into impactful and actionable business-driving actions.
  • You have strong initiative and quickly synthesize and distill large data into engaging content.
  • You’ve earned a Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • You have 2-3 years of related experience in an ad-tech, agency, publisher, or B2B setting
  • You have experience translating and interpreting data into meaningful, business-driving actions. Critical thinking skills are a must, as is using data to tell a story from different angles
  • You’re a pro at managing a fast-paced, continuous delivery environment
  • You know how to anticipate issues, feedback, and tasks, and drive them based upon own initiative
  • You’re adept collaborating and navigating multiple teams, and have managed escalated user/client/audience escalation issues.
  • Experience with Looker, Chartio and SQL a plus
